

Jonathan Christopher Borboa, 32, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on September 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his life and family.
Born on April 22, 1993, in Wichita, Kansas, Jon was the beloved son of Karen Harvey and Bill Borboa. He graduated from Valley Center High School with his certification in welding from Hutchinson Community College. A skilled tradesman, Jon was known for his expertise in electrical work, plumbing, and welding. He was also a proud business owner of a moving company, admired for his strong work ethic, expansive knowledge in many trades, and pride in a job well done.
Jon had a passion for life and a wide range of interests. From all forms of BMX racing, dirt track and Figure 8 racing - to playing golf, coaching his daughter’s softball team, camping, fishing, hockey and making music on the guitar and piano—he embraced every thrill seeking moment. He also enjoyed tattoos, motorcycles, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents, Karen Harvey and Bill Borboa; his grandmother, Karen “JoAnn” Evans; his fiancée, Caitlyn Wagner; and his children: Addisyn Borboa, Kyra Curtis, Peyton Borboa, and Jade Borboa, and his precious Siberian Husky, Stormy. He is also survived by his siblings: Sarah Sontag (Brent), Chris “Bub” Borboa, and Dominic Borboa (Skyler); step-siblings: Felicia Sullivan (Brian Furdek) and Robert Sullivan (Ashley); Aunt and Uncles, Don Harvey (Julie), Laura Moore (Mark), Sandra Borboa, and Rick Borboa, and many cherished members of his extended and bonus family, including numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, Brent and Lori Swank, Cameron Van Dusen (Elena Davis), Imalea Swank, Brynn Swank (Mikey England), Jayce Swank, Bryan Swank (Jaime), the entire Swank family, Brenda Webb (Tim), Shelly Blevins, Chris Blevins (Heather), Kelly Hay (Maggie), the entire Evans, Wagner/Hanson and Hathaway families.
Jon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Harvey II, grandpa, Darrell Evans, grandmother, Nellie Murguia, and uncle, John Harvey.
Jon will be remembered as a hardworking, kind-hearted man who was always ready to help friends and family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he shared.
