Joshua Wayne Garrett, 40, loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. He was born March 18, 1985, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Gary Garrett and Debbie Chippeaux.
Josh attended Wichita Public Schools, where he graduated from Wichita Heights High School in 2004. During high-school, he worked for All Star Sports West, where he met his high-school sweetheart, Lindsay Fosnight, and the two were later married in 2013.
During his free time, he was an avid outdoorsman, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Josh was a handyman; he was often found in his shop helping family and friends working on different vehicles and projects. He knew someone wherever he went and always struck up a conversation. Josh was starting to pass on his hunting and fishing skills to his sons, and in recent months he was teaching them how to load & shoot the crossbow, and to learn how to drive the Ranger.
