Judith "Judy" A. Tinker

She was born on January 20, 1943, and although she was born in Taylorville, Illinois, she spent the majority of her life calling Wichita home.

She attended West High School and later Friends University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. After working in the banking industry for many years, she started a family-owned business-- La Shoe ltd. She later worked for the Goddard School District as an Administrative Assistant from where she retired. In her downtime, Judy was an avid fan of football, a devoted reader, and a classic movie enthusiast who spent countless joyful moments with her family. Her greatest delight was attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s events.

Judith is survived by daughters, Cynthia (Mike) Rogers and Camara Campbell both of Wichita; sister, Mary May of Eugene, OR; step-children, Susan Brack of Topeka, KS, Robert (Rebecca) Tinker and Sally Murphy both of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents Horace and Elsie (Marucco) Cozart, and her husbands, Kenneth E. Bruce and Donald C. Tinker Jr.

Judy was a woman of great wisdom and strength-- she lit up a room and loved unconditionally. She will be deeply missed.

Services will be held on Friday February 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora, Wichita, KS 67212. A burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54 Wichita, Kansas 67209.
