Julie Lorae Marie Mikel Berkenmeier

Julie Lorae Marie Mikel Berkenmeier, also known as Jon "JT", passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 28. Born on December 17, 1997, in Cherryvale, Kansas, Julie was a devoted and kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of many. She was a resident of Wichita and was employed at Resthaven Mortuary, working as a Custodial Technician, as well as working formerly with our cemetery maintenance crew at Lakeview Cemetery and Resthaven Garden of Memory.

In her personal life, Julie was married to the love of her life, Kat, for four years, and they shared a beautiful decade together. She was an amazing mom to her children, Nathalia, Lydia, and Braxton, who were the center of her world. Julie also leaves behind her wife, Kaitlin "Kat", grandmother, Linda Blake, mother-in-law, Melanie Cotton, sisters, Jade Ramirez-Gonzalez, Mandy Ingram, Brandy Ingram, brothers, Josh Marshal and Justice "Mango", niece, Lillianna, and a nephew, Julio, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lois (Ashley) Ingram, and beloved uncle, Darrell.

Julie was a jack of all trades and a great person, known for her willingness to drop anything at any time to help anyone. Her personal interests included spending cherished moments with her children, enjoying heavy metal music, and being part of the Bass Ride Family. She loved bumping to the Bass in her truck, "SnowWitch" and took great joy in doing her makeup. Julie also enjoyed working on, fixing vehicles and auto detailing them.

A Visitation with family present will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 10:00 am at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel, located at 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.
