Kenneth’s life was one of profound resilience, love, and dedication to his family and community.
At the age of 15, Kenneth’s life was dramatically changed by a hunting accident that left him blind. However, through immense determination and the support of his family, Kenneth faced this challenge head-on. With intense rehabilitation, he regained his independence and went on to graduate from the Kansas School for the Blind in Kansas City, Kansas.

In 1971, Kenneth met the love of his life, Jeanette, in Topeka, Kansas. They were married on December 3, 1971, beginning a partnership that would last more than five decades. Together, they raised two sons, Jeremy and Gayle, whom Kenneth adored and supported with a deep, unwavering love.
Kenneth’s devotion to his family extended to his role as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was an active member of his church community, where he passionately contributed to youth ministry and prison outreach programs. Kenneth loved taking children to youth meetings, where he could inspire and guide the next generation. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he lived it out through service and love for others.
One of the greatest joys in Kenneth’s life was spending time with his grandchildren, Dakota and Cheyanne. He cherished every moment with them, sharing his wisdom, love, and affection. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and deep family bonds lives on.
