With deep love and unwavering hope in Christ, we announce the passing of Kerri Vogel, 53, who went home to be with her Lord on January 24, 2026, surrounded by the love she spent her life giving so freely.
Kerri was born October 7, 1972 to Glen and Donna Taylor. She graduated from Mulvane High School in 1991 and Oklahoma Christian University in 1995, where she met lifelong friends and learned a love of hot glue. She met Jeremy Vogel after college and they were married May 22, 1999. He remained by her side loving her and talking to her until she took her last breath.
Kerri was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest earthly joy was her family. She loved them with her whole heart—praying over them, showing up for them, and reminding them constantly how deeply they were loved. Family gatherings, everyday moments, and shared laughter were treasures to her.
Above all else, Kerri loved Jesus. Her faith was not just something she believed—it was something she lived. She trusted God fully, leaned on His Word, and desired nothing more than for others to know the hope, grace, and salvation found in Christ. If she could speak to us now, she would want this to be clear: Jesus is real, He is faithful, and He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Kerri is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jeremy Vogel, son Benjamin of the home and daughter Brooke, father Glen Taylor (Carol), sisters Kim Cunningham (Brian) and Heather Mauck (Tate), parents in law Kevin and Lucy Vogel, sister in law Hollie Clifton (Keith), nieces Mackenzie Duggan (Kyle), Lexi, Madi, Heather and Carly Cunningham, Reilly Jones (Parker), Sydney, Avery, Harper and Blayke Mauck, Alexandra and Miranda Clifton, nephews Lorson and Emmanuel Mauck, along with many extended family members and friends who were blessed by her kindness, strength, and unwavering faith. She was an animal lover and leaves behind her treasured dog, Walter.
She was preceded in death by her mother Donna Taylor and an infant sister, Angela.
While our hearts grieve her absence, we do not grieve without hope. We rejoice in knowing that she is whole, healed, and in the presence of her Savior.
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.”
—John 11:25
