Leonor Torres Salas

On Saturday, Oct 15, 2022, Leonor T. Salas passed away at the age of 75. Her life was a testament of her strength, faith in God and her love for her family. She was born on March 24, 1947, in El Campo, Texas. She was a God Fearing Woman and was faithful till the end. She will be forever remembered by her numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Ysmael Salas, her Children, Adam Salas and wife Romie Salas of Ulysses KS; David S. Salas of El Compo, TX; Abel Salas of Wichita KS; Gabriel Salas of Rosenberg, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew Salas and wife Lizette; Adam Salas and wife Cindy; Angela Feyjoo and husband Angel; Michael Salas and wife Violet Jurrell Salas; Richard Salas; Sonia Lopez, Guiovanna Quintela, Julio Ronquillo, Orlando Ronquillo. She is also survived by her brother Joe Torres of Garden City, KS.

She is preceded in death by her Father Anestacio; Mother Antonia Augiler Torres and Brother Felipe Torres. Her favorite bible verse was ISAIAH 40 verse 8 “the grass withereth, the Flower fadeth; but the word of our God Shall Stand forever.”

A visitation for Leonor will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Berean Assembly, 1215 W Carey ln, Wichita, KS 67217 with a graveside to follow at Lakeview Cemetery 12100 E. 13th St. N, Wichita, KS 67206.
