The world lost an excellent young man today. Levi was an amazing guy: always listening, always learning, always observing. He strived everyday to be a better man and to make this world a better place.

I had the pleasure to play sports with Levi, and also go to school and work with him.  We taught each other so much. One of my greatest friends.

Rest in peace, Levi.  I'll see you soon.

You will be missed more than anything. You were a brother to me and the group. We're just remembering all the good times we had with you bro.

You were always so full of life!  You could make anyone laugh at something ridiculous even when they were going through really hard things.  You will be greatly missed!  Have fun in heaven bro!  See you soon.

Levi Hampton was a great kid that marched to the beat of his own drum and had contagious joy. He is missed, and he is home.

The first memory that comes to my mind is Levi playing an air guitar at AFW. You always made whatever situation you were in better with your great personality and genuine smile. I wish we could have won a championship playing indoor soccer but looking back I'm just so glad I was able to play soccer with you. You will be greatly missed.. I wish I had more time with you buddy. I'll never forget you friend.

Once a brother always a brother u will be missed but never forgotten.

We will all miss you, Levi! Your presence lit up a room and you were so passionate about everything you went for. I'll miss hearing all about you learning guitar and getting to play with your ferrets when we were kids (especially because my parents never let me have one!). I will see you soon! Rest easy, dear friend.

Yesterday we sat together at breakfast and talked of Christ and our pursuit of Him. We spoke of the desire to pursue Him with honesty, not putting on heirs to pretend we’re something we’re not. You said you would rather someone perceive you as a jerk than to be a fake as you honestly shared your struggles and challenges.

We spoke of our desire to deeply know others and love them as they are, and to be deeply known by others and loved anyway. To be safe in friendships where honesty and vulnerability don’t put a friendship at risk.

Yesterday we worshipped our Lord together, we worked together. You gathered our family and friends to play together. I delighted in you as I watched you love our family and bathe in our love for you.

Yesterday we laughed together and hugged goodbye one last time.

Levi, you are my child and you have become my friend and my brother as well. I am extremely proud of the man you’ve become.

Levi you were a goofy and great kid and knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. I will always remember the great memories that we had with my brother and his friends! You will be greatly missed. RIP Levi Hampton

I have no words. It doesn't even seem real that you're gone. The times you would come home from Tulsa were my favorite...all the hugs and jokes...your encouraging and determined spirit. You never failed to have a smile on your face. You were more than just a neighbor to me these past 8 or 9 years. You were my brother. I miss you, Levi Twitchy Hampton.

Levi Twitchy Hampton, you were the perfect definition of a true and loyal friend. My god.... I will miss you more than I can express. Thank you for always being there for me and never ever judging me. I will always treasure our long discussions on literally every subject imaginable... I will miss getting your precious phone calls, giving you advice and asking for yours. I'm honored to have known you all these years. 

I know you are so incredibly happy right now and I would not take that away from you even if I could. Every question of yours is answered. Every desire of your heart is fulfilled. I cannot wait to see you again... Have fun break dancing on streets of gold! I love you, my darling friend.

Levi, I will miss you. It was an honor to know you and call you friend. You were a man of deep waters. I'm so thankful we were able dip down into those waters together. I'm thankful for the many conversations we had. I know the way your heart longed for true intimacy with God and people. As I sit in the weight of your absence and the memory of our time together, I am overcome with the beauty of your life story, particularly in the way it is represented in your tattoo and the story behind it. You're life motto, "with all my heart", is an incredible statement. I remember when you told me you wanted to get that as a tattoo. I remember you telling me what it meant to you--that you would work whatever job you had with all your heart, play whatever sport with all your heart, love who ever was in your life with all your heart, and, when you found the woman you were to marry, that you would pursue her, remain faithful to her, and love her with all your heart. To me, this life motto seemed like an amazing tattoo--something to dedicate your whole life to. But you found something even greater. "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will fulfill the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4 My last and most cherished memory with you was getting the introduce you to the wonderful world of sushi and talking about life right before you moved to Tulsa. I remember you telling me that you were thinking of tattooing this verse instead of "with all my heart". You talked about the way that the desires of the heart could be illusive and even deceptive sometimes. You said that it was better to seek after God and let Him reveal to your heart what it is it should beat for. This message and your life have had an incredible impact on me and so many others. Though it was short, your life was beautiful Levi, and I am glad to have been a part of it.

We ache and mourn with you, but we don't mourn like those who have no hope. Levi is beholding the face of Jesus. May our Lord hold you in the palm of His hand. Praying for you and the entire family!

I am so sorry for your loss. My daughter and I witnessed the accident. And we were the first on the scene. So many people stopped to see if they could help. I too have lost 2 sons, one of the hardest things in life is to loose your children. My faith kept me going.

I'm gonna miss my best friend that also was a little brother to me. I'm so glad that you were part of my group of friends. I'm very sad that you and my sister could never get together and sing and play music. That would of been something amazing. You're gonna be missed so much. I love you bro!

When I was working down in Tulsa, I would buy Levi lunch everyday I was there. He would always come in, say Hi, give me a big hug and tell me how glad he was to see me. I remember asking him why? one time. He said, "because you buy me food!". This sweet guy was magic, always smiling. We had some really good conversations about God. I love this kid! I know that he is sitting at the right hand of the throne with God and I WILL see him again!
