Lola graduated from high school in Piper, Ks. She married Francis Gansbauer in 1954 and worked at Folgers Coffee until she had children. She was a homemaker until her children left the home, then began bowling on several different leagues and working at the Wichita Bowling Assoc. After that, she went to work for an asphalt paving company as payroll clerk and remained there until her retirement 24 years ago. She enjoyed bowling for many years, camping with her husband, working with the ladies at church making quilts for donation and crocheting as a volunteer for Bridget’s Cradles. She baked almost daily and spread her love through that to her family, friends, neighbors and any repairman that visited her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Clara Hormann; husband, Francis Gansbauer; son, Tom Gansbauer; and grandson, Thomas Gansbauer Jr.
Lola is survived by her children, John Gansbauer (Peggy) and Debra Ralston (Jim); 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
