Humphries, Lota B., 75, passed away June 5, 2013. Former employee of National Bank of Wichita and retired co-owner of Sugar N’Spice Donuts. She was a great mom and granny and will always be remembered for being full of life, love and laughter. Lota was preceded in death by her husband, John Humphries, Sr. and parents, Henry Daniel and Jettie and Lloyd Kenney. She is survived by her children, Galin Edmonds (Gene) of Enid, OK, Lisa Humphries of Wichita, John Humphries, Jr. (Teri Truesdell) of Wichita; sister, Beva Rikkers of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, John Humphries III “A.J.”, Lindsey Edmonds Fielder (Dusty), Shannon Edmonds Sharkey (Wes); great-grandchildren, Tristan, Sam and Will Sharkey, Oaklee, Hazel, Eleanor and Ian Fielder. Graveside service is 11:00 am Saturday, June 8 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sweet Home Cemetery Association, 2457 Hwy 84, Amity, AR 71921.
