Lucille Basart

Lucille Basart, age 95 passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. She was born October 4, 1929 to Floyd Marshall Wilson and Lefa Lenette (Lawson) Wilson in Ozawkie, Kansas.

Lucille was a secretary right out of high school, up until retirement for Farm Bureau. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, bingo, gambling and spending time with family and friends.

She was a preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lefa Wilson. Lucille leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Janet Rice; her son, Kevin Basart; her grandchildren, Jeremy Ketner, Shawn (Lexie) Knight, Lisa Basart, Amber Basart; her great-grandchildren, Larry Knight, Rain Knight, Manasseh Ketner, Eliora Ketner, Nehemiah Ketner, Brittany (Aaron) Wright, Jose (Angela) Urbina, Nia Smith, and Alexander Cantu; her great-great-grandchildren, Riley Rippey and Luca Urbina; as well as many dear friends.

We think God for Lucille's life and the precious memories she leaves behind.

A graveside memorial service for Lucille will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 18, 2025, at Lakeview Cemetery in the Veterans Garden, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.
