Lula June Erwin

June was a longtime resident of Emporia, where she worked until retirement at Dolly Madison, after 20 plus years of service. Shortly after retirement, she and her husband, Larry, moved to El Dorado to be closer to family.

They were members of the El Dorado Lutheran Church. June was an avid quilter, making lap quilts for Veterans through the church. She also enjoyed teaching her grandchildren about embroidery and gardening. She also spent a lot of time outdoors and fishing with her husband and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; grandchildren, Matthew Erwin, Kolton Erwin, Adrian Gonzalez; brother, Jack Farris; sister, Linda Currie.

Survivors include her children, Tina Erwin, Paul and wife, Gina Erwin, Evelyn and husband, Lanny Fieser, Angela and husband, Mayo Tovar; grandchildren, Karina, Sal, Eric, Shane, Amanda, Hunter, Ty, Katie; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Melba Anderson, Sheila and husband, Bill Phillips, Debbie and husband, Bryan Pierce, Kimmie and husband, Todd Schneider; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
