Marcella Betty Bates (May), 89, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018. She was born on October 2, 1928 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Hazel G. Milburn, who was mother of 10 children. Marcella loved all of her four children, seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Via Christi Village McLean Assisted Living at 777 N. McLean Wichita, Kansas. Visitation hours for viewing will be from 12:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St N. Wichita, Kansas. A service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018, at 2pm, also at Lakeview.
