Margaret Ilene Bomhoff

Ilene passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas. She was born to Donald Richard and Margaret Irene (Pate) Miles on May 27, 1935, in Garden City, Kansas.

Ilene graduated from Garden City High School and had a few jobs through her life, but her most rewarding was being a homemaker. She cherished taking care of her family.

Ilene enjoyed many things in life. She belonged to the Life Christian Church, she was a part of a book club, she enjoyed traveling and she helped support many causes like Heartspring, the Red Cross and WSU. Ilene had a fun-loving personality and was well loved by all that knew her.

Ilene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harrison Bomhoff and brother, Donald Miles Jr. She is survived by her children, Michael Huffman (Kathy), Bonnie Farmer (Doug) and Beth Miracle (Brenda); brother, Stephen Miles (Sherry); 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. A reception will be held at the Blood Orchard Event Market Place, 6346 S Broadway, Wichita, Kansas 67216 following the service.
