Margaret K. Weatherington

Margaret graduated from United Township High School in East Moline, Illinois. She was united in marriage to James Weatherington in 1965, where they were married for 45 years and had four girls.

Margaret was a jack-of-all-trades. She did everything from car hop at A&W to building far equipment at Farmall; then lastly, before her retirement she was building parts for Boeing and Cessna aircraft.

Margaret's greatest joy was spending time with her family & friends. During her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and watching TV.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, James; her parents, Ben and Pearl; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 granddaughter; and 1 great-granddaughter.

She is survived by: her 4 daughters, Paula (Samuel) Clayton, Teresa (Jeremi) Hanks, Lisa (Danny Davis) DeWitt, and Leslie (Jonathan Larouche); along with 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great- grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Bruce Newton, Wichita.
