Marie Martin

Marie Martin, age 95, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Marie was born January 26, 1927 to Adeline (Priquet) Burwick (Jack Burwick) and Jack Burwick (Adeline (Priquet) Burwick).

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Marvin A. Martin (Marie (Burwick) Martin); her daughter Janis Martin and her son-in-law Mike Lanning; her father Jack Burwick (Adeline (Priquet) Burwick) and her mother Adeline (Priquet) Burwick (Jack Burwick); her granddaughter Kristi Wee.

Marie is survived by her daughter Karen Lanning; and her daughter Marla Hanson (Dennis Hanson); her granddaughter Melissa Hanson, her granddaughter Sarah Northup (Adam Northup), her grandson Deryk Hanson (Lauren Hanson), her granddaughter Gina Crossman (Doug Crossman), her granddaughter Gayla Kelly (Kevin Kelly) and her grandson Troy Lanning. Marie also leaves several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022 at DeVorss, Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 S. Hydraulic, Wichita, KS 67211. Her funeral service will be Monday, April 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., also at DeVorss, Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Interment will follow immediately at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, KS 67208.
