I have known Marvin since the late 70’s when I worked for his brother Larry at Wichita Kenworth. Always grinning, always making wise cracks. Then seeing him at all of the car shows! He was in his element for sure! You will sure be missed. RIP Marvin 

Marvin was a good friend of my family. I remember when my uncle built his DJ booth and we worked on his King Midget. I always enjoyed stopping by his new place to see him, I live not far from him so I watched the progress of the building of it. He always had a good word to say about me and my car at shows he would DJ. I tried to go to the shows he was at, he made it more fun with all his trivia and great music. I'm really going to miss him, loosing him is like loosing a family member to me.

So many great memories with Marvin and brother Larry from North High and beyond. Love and prayers.

May God give the comfort and peace only He can give to the family and friends of Marvin.  

Marvin was our DJ at the Newton Downtown Car Show for nearly 12 years. A good guy and a good friend. Always there when you needed help. A smile on his face and song in his heart. I hope God love's 50's music... who needs harps when you have Marvin?? Miss you man! Davy

He was one of the most ornery man I ever knew. He was my uncle and I’m so sorry that I didn’t visit him before this happened. I loved him and I’ll miss his presence in this world.  You’re in Gods hands now... I hope I will see you on the other side. Love you uncle Marvin. It should have been me, not you.

I remember Marvin well. Also remember his love affair with cars. There were a few times he borrowed the “409” Bruce referred to and drove it some. It really screamed. Also remember the Oldsmobile 2 door he was always tinkering with. He trophied with it once at the drag strip. Saw him frequently until I moved to Lenexa. We always had a laugh or two. Will miss him. RIP Marv. 

So many car shows, so many tunes.  From naming my coupe The Purple People Pleaser to playing my many requests.  Seeing him sipping his morning tea at work ,  or greeting me with a shake of the hand and a  How you doing you old fart.  My memories of Marvin are many. All good!  The Wichita Car Scene has lost one of its finest members. RIP  Rock on Mr DJ

Marvin The  Hot Rod DJ  my friend. Marvin and I loved talking about music and cars. He gave his time and Talent to Help so many over the years, always there when someone called for Sound at an event or Fund raising,

Going to car shows without Marvin the Music Man being there?  That's going to be a hard thing to deal with.  Seems like Marvin was always at the car shows or any automotive related event.  The music he played at the shows was the perfect background for any hot rodder. Marvin knew a lot of people as a result of his music business and I was amazed he could always  remember so many  names.  Rest Marvin,  you will be missed; your memory will always  be a part of the Wichita car community.

I'm still glad I hooked him up with the train horns that he had mounted on his golf cart. He got alot of pleasure out of scarring people when he honked the horns. ( He had help honking them too. )

Marvin already missed working with you at Moore's collision repair now I'm going to miss the occasional phone calls and me bragging to ya about how nice the weather is in florida R.I.P my friend.
P.S. dont let that bel air up there get away from ya
