Melva loved to travel, read, write and garden. She was passionate about bowling, attending 40 national tournaments and is a member of the WWBA Hall of Fame. She worked the New York Times crossword puzzles in the Sunday paper and finished them. Her flower beds were beautiful, and brought her so much joy. It was a treat to spend holidays in her home. She decorated her house so beautifully and along with Jim, always made entirely too much good food.
A visitation for Melva will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
