Blakney, Michael Bud, 45, auto body mechanic for Old Town Collision, passed away Oct. 7, 2017. Michael was a devoted and big hearted father to his children, Scott, Samantha, Stephen (Shalimar), Shane, and Skyler; a loving son to his father, Larry Blakney, a headstrong and loyal brother to Tony (Charlie) and Robert (Deborah) Blakney, and a proud grandfather of Kealie, Kaysie, Kelsey, Jayden, Jordan, Delilah, and Makenzie. Michael was a strong willed man with a loving heart and he will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline J. Blakney; uncle, Stanley Williams; and his beloved pets, Biesel and Bun Bun. He is survived by his children, father, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Devon, Jared, Kallie, Kelesey, and Archer Blakney Nichole, Raymond, and Austin Wilson; aunts and uncles, Rex (Bobbi) Williams and family, Darrell (Mary Lou) Williams and family, Phyllis Davis and her daughter, Michelle Davis and family, Leroy (Sharon) Blakney and family, as well as many other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens 1:30 p.m. Sat. Oct. 14, 2017.
