Debbie - I am so thankful to have been able to meet Mike.  He helped me get started in the Longhorn business like so many others. Debbie, Scott and Joe, I can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I always really liked mike. He was always so nice to me and I admired him for being the family man and father that he was. He is also the man who taught me very young that if I'm ever down to 5$ and I need to eat for a week to buy a bag of potatoes. I still pass that little lesson on to my is children. I'm a better person having known him. He  will be greatly missed.

We lost one of the "good guys" in our industry.  I am proud of the fact that Mike Bowman was my friend.  We shared many good times together as couples and just the two of us.  He was a tough trader and great breeder and he enjoyed his longhorn cattle. He had a big heart and extreme integrity as a man and as a breeder.  I will miss him very much. This is another terrible loss of one of the greats in the Texas Longhorn industry.  Mike and Debbie have done so much to promote the breed and to help everyone who needs it.  It's a sad time.
