Holmes, Mike, 72, retired firefighter for Santa Clara County, California Fire Department and 24-year veteran of the Coast Guard passed away June 7, 2015. Mike loved going to auctions and raising dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olan and Rue Louise Holmes; sister, Sherry Jean Hilton; dog, Swinger. He is survived by his wife Patricia; sister, Kayrl Jane Parish; numerous nieces and nephews; dogs, Jazi, Journey, Ming, and Josie. Visitation with family is 5 to 7 pm Thursday and Celebration of Life is 1:00 pm Friday, June 12 both held at Resthaven Mortuary.
