Houser, Mildred “Millie”, 83, long time resident of Wichita went to be with the Lord on Sat., August 18th. Millie was retired from the Boeing Co., where she was a Manager in Human Resources. In addition, she was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and a close friend to many. She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Jack” Houser; mother and father, L.B. and Irene Ranck; and brother, Jim Ranck. Millie is survived by her sons; Jack Houser of Bolingbrook, IL, James (Sandy) Houser of Andover; daughter, Carla (Mark) Schlemmer of Overland Park; sister, Miriam (David) Murphy and brother, Robert (Marilyn) Ranck, all of Norman, OK; sister-in-law, Katherine Ranck of Santa Fe, NM and Dorothy Sawyer of Wichita; grandchildren, Paul Friesthuler, Christina, Kathryn, Daniel, Laura, Sonia and Luke Houser; Bryan and Todd Redburn; great-grandchildren, Cody, Holly and Hunter Houser and Penelope Redburn. Many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends will also miss her. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
