Mildred Lee Larcade

Larcade, Mildred L., 86, of Valley Center, Kansas passed away on Thurs. July 19, 2018. Mildred was born the daughter of Milton and Pauline Brister on July 9, 1932 in Lake Providence, LA. Mildred was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend. Mildred loved cooking, crocheting, watching western films, traveling and going to the casino. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Darold Larcade, Sr., children, Milton, Polly, Novalee, Claudine, grandchildren, Jesse, Melanie, Milton, Jr., sisters, Ethel "Claudine", Mearie "Marthie", Lessie, Gertrude, brothers, Wesley, M.P. and Floyd. Survivors include her loving children, Mattie Cargill, Maxine (Tim) Frederick, Susquoia Larcade, Nita (Bobby) Hamby, Darold (Kristen) Larcade, Jr., grandchildren, 53 grandchildren, 120 great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren and many bonus family members. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thurs. July 26, 2018 and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Fri. July 27, 2018. Celebration of life services will be 2:00 p.m. on Sat. July 28, 2018 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 608 W. Douglas Ave, Wichita, Kansas 67203.
