Nancey D. Martin

Nancey D. Martin, 74, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 in Wichita. Nancey was born the daughter of Will and Erma Creason on March 20, 1948 in Hutchinson, KS. She was a 1966 graduate of Partridge High School.

On November 19, 1965 she was united in marriage to Richard Martin in Partridge, Kansas. After flagging for Richard for numerous years, she retired as an Assistant Manager from Casey's General Store in Aurora, NE.

While raising a family, Nancey enjoyed bowling, square dancing, reading and sewing. In more recent years, she’s enjoyed spending time with her great grandkids, attending New Spring Church and traveling with family.

Nancey is survived by her husband, Richard Martin; her children; Judy Lang, Christy Carey, and Terri (Mike) Carlson; siblings; Larry Creason and Lorene Ruonavaara; 9 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Celebration of life service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 S. Hydraulic, Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to help cover medical expenses.
