Patricia Joanne Carlson

Patricia J. Carlson, 78, homemaker, devoted mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014. She graduated from East High School in 1953. She was longtime member of Lynnwood Church of the Nazarene then joined and attended Indian Hills Church of the Nazarene. Preceded in death by her husband’s Paul Jesse James and Dale Gene Carlson.

Survived by her son Jesse James of Andover, KS, daughter Yvette (Keith) Shipley of Leon, KS, step-son Erik (Trish) Carlson of Wichita, KS, step-daughters Yvonne (Steve) Henderson of Dumfries, VA, Dalrona (Rick) Harrison of Wichita, KS, Leale Carlson, grandchildren Lee (Sara) James, Ashley (Earnest) Knight, Sarah (Sam) Smith, Elizabeth (Blake) LaPard , Jessica Shipley, Monica (Sean) McGuffin, step-grandchildren Abby (Matt) Wood, Cody (Ella) Carlson, great-grandchildren Dillon James, Earnest, Cooper and Zachry Knight, Summer and Lily McGuffin, step-great grandchildren Addison and Hanna Wood, two brothers, two sisters, many friends, love ones and her beloved dog Baylee. “GG Pat you will forever be loved and missed.”

Visitation with family, 6pm-8pm, Tues. July 29th at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, Funeral Service, 10am, Wed. July 30, 2014 at Indian Hills Church of the Nazarene, 1555 N. McLean Blvd, Wichita with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
