Pauline Nicholson

Nicholson, Pauline, 93, passed from this life on December 1, 2011 in Wichita, Kan. Pauline was born May 7, 1918 in Ardette, MO. On July 14, 1936 Pauline married Dean Nicholson. To this union three children were born, Bruce, Beverley, and Bernice. Pauline was preceded in death by husband, Dean Willis Nicholson in 2007 and 4 brothers. She is survived by son, Bruce Nicholson and his wife, Doris of rural Sedgwick County and their children, Shelley, Christina, Janet and Bryan; her daughter Beverley Bowles and her husband, Roger of Wichita and their children, Tracey, Randy, and Terri; her daughter Bernice Thach and her husband, Randy of rural Sedgwick County and her children, LaDawna and Jason; brother Larry (Marcia) Woodard of Maize, KS; sister Aileen (Charles) Biby of Newton, KS. Pauline is also survived by 33 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Pauline enjoyed cooking, reading, knitting, cards, bowling and sports. She played basketball for the AAU in Maize, was an active member of Maize United Methodist Church and Maize Friendship Club. Viewing will be Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 12-8 with family receiving 6-8 at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Maize United Methodist Church.
