Phillips, Ray F., 90, retired machinist from Screw Machine Products after 45 years and WWII Army veteran passed peacefully on March 21, 2011. Ray was preceded in death by son Roy Richard. Survivors are wife Ruth of 70 years; daughter-in-law Sherry; sons Robert (Patty) Phillips of Longview, WA, Ron (Barbara) Phillips of Wichita, Russell (Marcel) Phillips of Portland, OR; daughter Anne (Robert) St. Clair of Goddard; brothers Bob Phillips of Mission, KS, Lee Roy (Mary) Phillips of Emporia; sisters Beulah Spillman of Emporia, Rose Sluder of Jacksonville, FL, Alice Barrett of Mission, KS, Marjorie (Loren) Whitney of Hutchinson; grandchildren Shane (Shelley), Jason (Kristen), Kelly (Hayley), Jeremy (Renea), Jody (Bill), Monica (Ben), Bryce (Lynsi) and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral service is 10:00 am Friday, March 25 at Westside Christian Church. Burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Memorial contribution can be made to The Lord’s Diner or Fellowship Class at Westside Christian Church.
