Bowman, Raymond B., 85, was born May 23, 1929 in Valeda, Kansas, and passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015 in Wichita. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War era. Raymond was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved gardening, yard work and camping. He was a member of the Emporia Avenue church of Christ in Wichita. Raymond was preceded by his parents Glenn and Vida (Neidigh) Bowman and two sisters, Christina and Irene. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Naomi; son Jim (Susan) Bowman; daughter Pam (Mike) Noland; two brothers, Leo (Michiko) Bowman, Ralph (Retha) Bowman; four granddaughters; ten great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service officiated by preachers Willis Hood and Mark Haas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Lakeview Cemetery, 12100 E. 13th Street, Wichita, Kansas.
