Raymond Pierce, age 92, retired Lear Jet cabinet maker, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Ray was born February 10, 1925 in Wichita, the son of Lewis and Genevieve Pierce. On June 30, 1945, Ray married Wanda (Meredith) in Haysville. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister, Betty Hatfield. Survivors include: daughter, Becky and husband, Arthur Caudillo, Wellington; brother, Bob Pierce, Mulvane; sister, Jeannene Dodson, Sacramento, CA; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter. Visitation 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday with family present at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street, Wichita; graveside service 10 a.m. Monday at Lakeview Cemetery with military honors provided by McConnell AFB. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
