Johnson, Robert Lawrence “Bob”, 80, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 13, 2012. Bob served in the Air Force as a TSGT for 20 years as a recruiter, teacher and warehouse worker and worked at Coleman for 20 years. He was born March 28, 1931 in DeKalb, IL to Albert and Adeline Johnson. He was preceded in death by his brother Deforest Johnson. Survivors are wife Lois (Joplin) Johnson; children Pam O’Bannon (Carlton) of Bembrook, TX, Debbie Gardenhire, Cindy Brawner, Tina Pickard (Steve) all of Wichita; step-children Vicky Ferbert (Kirk) of Wichita, James Joplin (Kathy) of San Antonio, TX; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Viewing is Friday 12 to 8 pm and funeral service is 1:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 18 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
