Robert L. Logerman

Robert Lee “Bob” Logerman, 91, a lifelong resident of the Wichita area, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Bob was born on January 17, 1934, in Maize, Kansas, to Henry and Gladys Logerman. He graduated from Maize High School in 1951, where he was active in football, basketball, and other sports.

Following high school, Bob went to work for Alexander Brothers Drywall and later began his career as a cement mason. He dedicated 40 years to The Law Company, Inc., serving as concrete foreman and later as yard superintendent until his retirement. He was known as a hardworking professional, a mentor to others, and a steady presence to those who worked alongside him.

On June 14, 1953, Bob married Carol Carpenter of Goddard, Kansas, at the Goddard Methodist Church. They made their home in Goddard and lovingly raised three children. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and “Grampy” to his great-grandchildren, and he took great joy in time spent with his family.

Bob enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved golfing and working in his yard. A man of deep faith, he was a 70-year member of the Masonic Lodge, a Tin Lizzie in the Shriners, and faithfully served as a greeter at Central Community Church for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Gladys Logerman; his daughter, LeeAnn (Dale) Hassler; his brothers, Calvin Logerman and Cecil Logerman; and his sister, Lois Ann Warnick.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Carol; his son, Robert H. (Barbara); his daughter, Martha (Jeff) Williams; and his son-in-law, Dale Hassler. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jeremy Ingram, Lindsay Boehlke, Abby Brunetti, Taylor Mears, Mason Mears, Shannon Evans, Wes Williams, and Wyndam Williams, as well as eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on January 10, 2026, at Central Community Church Chapel. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
