
TATUM, Robert (Bob), age 86, of Winfield, KS went to his heavenly father on June 10, 2014. He is preceded in death by parents Pauline and Earl Burkam of Leon, KS and daughter Linda Tatum of Wichita, KS. Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years Janice Tatum, daughter Judy (Robert) Whiley, sons Jim (Bonnie) Tatum, and Jerry (Cheryl) Tatum, two grandsons Jay Whiley, PV2 Brian Whiley, several nieces, nephews and step grandchildren. Mr. Tatum honorably served his country in the U.S. Army having served during World War II and the Korean War. He was a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans, 23rd Infantry Regiment. Second Division Association Inc., and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Winfield, KS. Bob attended many U.S. Army reunions throughout the country and was privileged to go on an Honor Flight to Washington DC. Bob retired from Boeing after 33 years of service in the Transportation Department. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Resthaven Mortuary 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, KS. Visitation 10-11 a.m., service at 11 a.m. and funeral procession to Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W. 47th St. S. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
