Whitlock, Robert L., 74, retired owner and operator of Interstate Wrecker Service, Navy Veteran, Rainbow Bread supervisor for over 30 years, Albert Pike Masonic Lodge member, liked cars and to fish, and was a thoroughbred horse and racing greyhound owner, passed away on April 21, 2014. He is preceded in death by sons Richard “Ricky” Whitlock and Jacoby Whitlock; daughter Rebecca Whitlock; and brother Wayne Whitlock. He is survived by Son Robert Whitlock II of Saratoga Springs, NY; daughters Rhonda (Curtis) Foreman of Berkley, MI and Janna Whitlock of Wichita; Brother Homer (Linda) Whitlock of Plano, TX; Sister Barbara (Jimmy Owens) Muns of Memphis, TN; grandchildren Natalie, Shelby, Kalee, Makhel, Malichia and Kevin; daughter-in-law, Claire Whitlock; good friend and business manager Diana Chaffin; and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Resthaven on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 3-8 pm with family receiving from 6-7pm. His funeral service will be held on Friday at 1pm at Resthaven Chapel. Memorials can be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital and the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy.
