Martin, Roberta Lu 75, passed away August 4, 2015. Roberta began her career as a medical transcriptionist while working for St. Francis Hospital. Over the years she worked for Wichita Neurological Institute, Dr. Lauren Welch and Wichita Nephrology group, as well as an independent transcriptionist for a number of Wichita medical offices. She was also very active at the Wichita Bible Church, serving as church pianist and on the music committee. Preceded in death by her parents, Maynard H. and Evelyn R. Martin and by brother David Ray Martin. She is survived by her brother, M. Dwayne (Jane) Martin; sister, Rose Marie (Don) Smith; nieces, Linda (Kirk) Longhofer, Cheryl Martin, Barbara (Vence) Mallow, Brandi Russell; nephews, Phillip Martin, Tony (Jennie) Martin, Don (Becky) Smith, Jr., Stephen Smith; and 18 great nieces and nephews.
