Brooks, Ronald D., 78, retired Captain of US Marine Corps, Quarter Master for VFW Post 112, passed away October 8, 2010. Service of Remembrance 1 p.m. Friday (Oct. 15, 2010), Hillside Funeral Home East. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, James and Leta, brothers, Gaylord and James, and a son, Jeff. Survivors: wife, Sarah; son, Bill; daughters, Cheryl and Vicki; brother, Gerald; sisters, Jeaninne, Lavona, Maxine, Johanna, Imogene; 2 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
