Rosemary J. Ketzner, 82, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, December 17. She was born on August 29, 1940, to Harold and Mary Owens in Wichita, KS. Rosemary is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Robert; children, Cindy Dutton (Paul), Rodney, Candace Nance (Ken) all of Wichita; grandchildren; Justin (Megan), Jarrod (Lacey), and Jordan Dutton, Ariele Thayer (Travis), Hunter, Jackson, and Trenton Nance, Megan Martin (Breyer), Kelsey and Grant Ketzner, and great-grandchildren; Lailah, Kipp, and Freya Dutton, Kooper Thayer, Tate and Myles Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Randy, grandson, Joshua Dutton, granddaughter, Amanda Dutton, and brother, Ronald Owens.
Rosemary was known to enjoy the many things of life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching their many sports and activities. For many years, Rosemary grew and sold peonies for Memorial Day and was an excellent florist. She was a talented artist who could accomplish just about any craft. Rosemary was an avid gambler and shopper. She loved to play bingo and cards with her friends. Rosemary enjoyed traveling and was able to visit many places over the years.
Rosary will take place at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 27, Funeral Mass at 10:30 am Wednesday, December 28 both at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Colwich, KS. Interment will be at 2:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary & Gardens of Memory. Memorials have been established with Good Shepherd Hospice Wichita and St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
