Shane "Shay" M. Scranton

Shane "Shay" M. Scranton, age 34, passed away November 29, 2018. He was the owner and operator of Troy’s Rides. Shay loved riding motorcycles, working on cars and trucks; he was an all-around gearhead. He also enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. Shay was compassionate and selfless through and through. He was always willing to lend a helpful hand to anyone in need. The most important thing in the world, was his family and friends. He is preceded by son, Elijah Combs; grandmother, Cecilia Yvonne “Bonnie” Scranton-Duke. Shay is survived by loving wife of 7 years, Shellie; son, Samuel Scranton; father, Kevin D. Scranton, mother, Kimberly A. Phelps; parents-in-law, Charles (Kathy) Goad; brother, Jonathon Scranton; sister, Barbie (Sean Fallis) Kelly; grandfather, William O. (Ruth) Scranton; uncles, Ken Scranton and William L. Scranton; aunts, Deanna L. (Ron) Shantz and Debbie (Thomas) Nelson; cousins, Joey Shantz, Tamara Scranton, Chance Scranton and numerous other family members. A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00pm, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary.
