Sr. Mary Denise Schwarz, ASC

Sr. Mary Denise Schwarz, ASC, 87, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was born the daughter of Frank and Mary (Grellner) Schwarz on April 6, 1935 in Okarche, OK. Sr. Schwarz professed her vows on July 1, 1956. She worked as an Elementary School Teacher. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Sisters: Agnes Ann and Rose James Brothers: Arnold, Robert and Richard. Survivors include her Sisters: Helen (Frank) Bice, Yukon, OK and Joan (Jerry) Anderson, Slater, IA; Brothers: Deacon Max (Patricia), Okarche, OK, Steve (Becky), Oklahoma City, OK; Sisters-in-law: Emalene and JoAnn Schwarz, Okarche, OK; Brother-in-law: Jon James; Nieces & nephews as well as great nieces and nephews survive; Sisters of the ASC Community. Welcoming and Wake will be Monday March 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM. All services will be held at the Chapel of the Woman of the New Covenant, Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Wichita Center, 1165 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, KS. Interment at the Community Cemetery of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Wichita. A memorial fund has been established for the retirement of Sisters, ASC, 1165 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, KS 67213.
