Born in Washington, D.C., Terry was known for her love of gardening, her devotion to her dogs, and, above all, spending time with her family. She will be fondly remembered for hosting legendary Fourth of July celebrations. Rain or shine, neighbors, family, and friends gathered each year to enjoy her hospitality and the unforgettable memories she helped create.
Terry is survived by her spouse, Michael Goodwin of Wichita, Kansas, her sister, Carol Davis of Wichita, and her children: Robert "Brice" Waddill of Wichita; Katrina "Trina" Kolarik of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Charisma Burghouts of Ijamsville, Maryland; and David "Gabe" Waddill of Manchester, Missouri. She is also survived by her stepson, Adam Goodwin of Wichita, and her cherished grandchildren: Carlie Ballard, Clare Sanderson, Christopher "Kody" Kolarik, Paris and Paige Burghouts, and Kaylin Morris.
Terry was preceded in death by her stepson, Aaron Goodwin of Wichita.
Her spirit will forever shine in the joyful memories of those who knew her, and her legacy of love and togetherness on the Fourth of July will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Terry will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel, 12100 E 13Th St N, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
