Terry Elden Lingo

Terry was an accountant for several companies in Texas and Oklahoma for the majority of his work career. After retiring from the accounting field he went to work as manager of a bowling alley in Kansas. He was an avid bowler and was very passionate about bowling; earning many trophies and awards over the years. After this retirement he spent his time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids enjoying life. He loved to cook and spend time with friends. His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others, who loved him deeply in his wide-network in the community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elden and Helen Lingo, his sister Sherry Ford and Tom Trigg. Terry is survived by his wife of 17 years Olga Lingo. His daughter Lisa and Randy Shewmake, grandson Jeffrey and Alea Shewmake, great-grandchildren; Maverick Rainey, Joshua Rainey, Lincoln Rainey, Kira Rainey, Bella Rainey and Haley Shewmake of Texas and grandson Scott Shewmake of Texas. His Son Scott and Kelly Lingo, grandson Blayze and Victoria Lingo, great-granddaughter Amelia Lingo, granddaughter Brooke and Riley Turner, great-grandchildren Raelyn Turner, Kash Turner. All of Oklahoma. Step-daughter Olga and Chris Hristov, grandsons Ashton Hristov and Dominic Hirstov of Nevada. Step-daughter Mariela and Todd Bennett, granddaughters Isabelle Bennett and Sophia Bennett of Texas. Step-daughter Gabriella Chumbe and granddaughter Julia Danner of Kansas. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Celebration of Life Service for Terry will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Lakeview Cemetery in the Peace Mausoleum, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206
