Mr. Thomas L. Monroe, 87, passed away on July 18, 2017, at his home in Haysville, KS. Born and formerly resided in Norfolk, VA. Tom was retired U.S. Navy and LearJet. Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis and son Thomas L. Monroe, Jr. Survived by daughters Deborah Blanton and Diana Brackhahn, 4 granddaughters and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorials can be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Derby or VFW Post 6957 of Haysville. Memorial service will be Monday, July 24, 2017 at Lakeview Chapel at 10am, graveside service following.
