Smith, Velera, 84, El Dorado Manufacturing camper seamstress passed away March 11, 2011. She was past Delphos, Ks Senior Citizen president and member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Elton in 1980; brothers Ross, Albert and Kenneth Friday; sisters Jessie Cogburn and Gertrude Lange. Survivors are daughters Judy (Mark) Lobaugh of Miltonvale, KS, Linda (Tim) Stauffer of Wichita; brother Leo Friday of Louisana; sisters Inez Carter, Elaine (Louis) Eckert, Gloria (J.C.) Avant all of TX; grandchildren Melissa (Rick) Bloom, Dustin (Cassie) Lobaugh, Isaac (Laura) Stauffer, Elisha Stauffer, and 4 great grandchildren. Viewing is Sunday 12 to 8 at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 10:30 am Monday, March 14 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
