Clem, Vera Agnes., 81, left this world to join God, on June 10, 2015. She will indeed be His master gardener and tend to all the flower gardens. As she would say “there’s always a weed to pull…” Vera was born in Wichita, KS on July 25, 1933 to Howard and Agnes (Campbell) Marsolf, who preceded her in death. She grew up on a farm in Hunter, OK with 3 sisters, Ruby (Bob) Schroeder, Irene Woods, both of Enid, OK, and Oleeta Stover of Wichita. After marrying her high school sweetheart and soul mate Max, they relocated to Wichita for employment opportunities. Vera was very outgoing and had a delightful sense of humor being shared and adored by many. She also possessed a loving Christian heart and compassionate soul to anyone in need. Vera was active in the church ready and willing to volunteer when needed. Her compassion was undying. She had a passion and expertise for flower gardening. Shoe shopping was a favorite as well, which has passed down through generations! She leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Max. Children, Terri (Rick) Lansdown of Wichita, Cindy Clem of the home, Rusty M. (Jacque) Clem of Mulvane, and Tracy V. Clem of Houston, TX. She also leaves behind loving, adoring grandchildren, Adam Highland of Lawrence, Charity (Adam) Martin of Towanda, Jason (Linda) Lansdown of Wichita, Shane Clem of Udall, Shonda (Woody) Palmer, Aaron Clem, Austen Clem, all of Mulvane, and 9 great-grandchildren. Vera was extremely proud of each and every member of her family, who are missing her intensely. She was an animal lover, never one not to take in a stray cat or two or three. In lieu of flowers PLEASE send donations in her name to The Kansas Humane Society.
