Virginia L. Lindahl

Virginia L. Lindahl, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23, 2021, Wichita. Virginia was born on August 13, 1934, in Maryville, Missouri, the daughter of Melvin H. and Pearl E. (Orlick) Ward. Virginia grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, where she met Paul at her church. On December 8, 1967, Virginia married Paul E. Lindahl in Marysville, Ohio. Shortly after marrying Paul, the family moved to Andover, where Virginia started her employment at Andover Post Office as a clerk and eventually Post Master. She retired in 1985.

Survivors include her children, Edward Lindahl of Derby, Rick and wife, Gale Lindahl of Wichita; grandchildren, Craig and wife, Sabrina, Brandon, Jeremy, Kimberly and husband, Aaron and Brandy; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Carol and husband, Ned Plowman, Pat and husband, Arden Hildebrand, and Janet Moore, all of Oregon. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; two great grandchildren; sister, Doris Anderson; brothers-in-law, Charles Anderson and Jerry Moore.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, funeral service 10:00 am on Friday, August 27, 2021, both at Lakeview Funeral Chapel, 12100 E. 13th Street North, Wichita, with interment immediately following.
