93, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord August 30, 2016. Virginia was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, later moving to Kansas where she retired from teaching English at Cheney High School. She was preceded by husband, A.L. Malone III; parents, Martin and Mary Myers. She is survived by son, Patrick (Sandy) Malone; daughters, Robin (Brad) Russell and Kelly (David) Rummery; grandchildren, Tyler, Timothy (Amber), Emily, Andrew, Brooks, Spencer and Kait; great granddaughters, Reagan, Rylee and Reese. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service 1 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church or Koinonia Senior Care Wichita.
