He was born in Wichita, Kansas on June 20, 1949 to Walter Holland and Jewel Kneel.
Walter worked as a Inventory Specialist in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, Retiring in 1989.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Walter is survived by his sister, Ludeen Floyd; his son, Shawn Holland (Shana); his stepdaughters, Grace, Alice, and Sara; his stepson, Mark; and his grandchildren, Annie, DJ, Karen, and Jamie.
A visitation will be held on January 13, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, located at 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same venue, starting at 1:00 pm.
The committal service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, also located at 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
