Wayne L. Koch

Wayne Leslie Koch, age 79, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at home. He was born April 7, 1946, to Ruben Koch and Pearl (Steinle) Koch in Hillsboro, Kansas. Wayne was a loving and devoted, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed.

Wayne graduated from Strong City High School in 1964, and then went to Brown Mackie Business College in Salina, Kansas. He later retired from Sellers Equipment after 43 dedicated years.

He was a preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Pearl Koch; brother, Carrol; as well as both sets of grandparents, George and Lena Koch & Reinhardt and Hanna Steinle.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 55 years, Veronica Koch; daughter, Kimberly Koch (Jeremy); four grandchildren, Amia, Olivia, Briella, and Ryanne; two step-grandchildren, Scarlett and Rowan; sisters, Judy (Chuck) Flaming and Glenda (Tom) Fleener; sister-in-law, Carolyn Koch; brother-in-law, Mike Kittrell (Kathy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

A come and go visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Friday, June 20th, at True Life Church, 4400 South Hoover Road, Wichita, Kansas 67215.

The Celebration of Life Service for Wayne will take place at 11:00AM, Saturday, June 21st, also at True Life Church, 4400 South Hoover Road, Wichita, Kansas 67215.
