He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Preceded in death by his parents Donald and Lillian, brothers Don, John and sisters Jeanne Steinke, Rita Thackery and Ora.
Survived by his loving wife of 61 years Deloris “Judy” of the home, sons Steve of Manhattan, KS, David of Springfield, MO, daughter Linda Mathis (Jerry Tucker) of Peck, KS, son Scott (Susan) of Wichita, sisters Margaret Ann Schmitz, Betty Halman, Ruth Link, grandchildren Tracy, Todd, Emma, Benjamin, Ryan, Patrick, Megan and great grandchildren Delaney and Grayson.
Rosary 7pm, Fri. July 15, Funeral Mass 10am, Sat. July 16 both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
