Norton, Wilma M. passed to heaven 4/1/12 at 2:25am to rest with the Lord. Wilma's full name: Wilma Maureen Yarnell Norton. She was preceded in death by Husband: Jack Morris Norton. Survivors are Daughter: Tracy Bean Husband (Bill Bean) Son: Shelley G. Norton, Son: Dick Norton Wife(Mary Norton), Niece: Shirley Soper,

Grandsons: Matt, Cade, Steve, Dan, Granddaugthers: Shannon, Brooke, 16 Great Grand kids. Her life was full with Jack and her children, owning 3 beauty shops, flipping homes and raising her children. In everything she did, she showed her love for the Lord. After retirement, Wilma and Jack enjoyed 10 years of traveling the United States, loving each other and the great outdoors with passion. In 1980, they moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and enjoyed 5 years of beauty before she lost the love of her life, Jack. In 1990, Wilma returned to Wichita and embraced what God put in front of her. She was extremely active in churchs, ranging from teaching Sunday School to 5year olds at Metropolition Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. She helped with the Good Neighbor Center and Vacation Bible Schools at Olivet Baptist Church, always thinking of others, never of herself. She also was involved with missonary trips that led her to South America and Mexico. Up to her last days, her deepest desire was to help others. Also, special thoughts for Jody, x-daughter in law, Wilma's companion and caregiver, Hospice of Kansas, especially Evonne and last but not least, Michelle and Oleyta. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Kansas... they have been amazing. Services are Saturday, 4/7/12 at 10am Resthaven.
