April 20, 2006 - February 4, 2023
Mt. Hope, Kansas - Wyatt Sobba surrounded by his family and friends, succumbed to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on February 2, 2023.
Wyatt Owen Sobba was born to Jesse and Sheena (Lowery) Sobba of Mt. Hope, Kansas joining his big brother, Austin, who quickly became his role model and best friend. Twenty months later baby sister, Avery came along to complete their sibling bond.
Legendary is the word used to describe Wyatt in every aspect of his life as a son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, friend and hunter. Family will forever remember his ornery, infections smile that was accompanied by his huge heart.
As a student in the Renwick School District, attending Andale High School, Wyatt never met a person that did not become a friend. His life revolved around hunting with his family and friends. The hunting stories are endless and will forever be told when family and friends are gathered.
He leaves behind his parents, Jesse and Sheena; older brother, Austin and younger sister, Avery Sobba to carry on his legend. He is also survived by his grandmother, Ruth Sobba; grandparents, Kyle and Lisa Johnston; grandfather, Rocky Lowery; as well as uncles and aunts, Chad Sobba, Joe and wife, Tawny Sobba, Lisa (Sobba) Pugh, Matt and wife, Bailee Sobba, Morgan and husband, Ian Smith, Taylor and husband, Trevor Toews, Cody Lowery, Mariah and husband, Hunter Womack and many great uncles and aunts and cousins.
Wyatt joined his grandfather, James Sobba, for the ultimate hunt.
Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023; funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 318 Rush Avenue, Andale; interment will immediately follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family requests casual attire be worn since that is what Wyatt would be comfortable wearing.
